iPhone Duo Gains Apple Pencil Support in iOS 27.2

The latest iOS update also introduces dual-camera use in group FaceTime calls.

Apple Pencil Comes to the iPhone Duo

With iOS 27.2, Apple's foldable iPhone Duo now supports Apple Pencil input, marking the first time the iPhone lineup has offered native stylus support. The feature arrives as the Duo's larger unfolded display makes pen-based note-taking, sketching, and markup practical for everyday use.

Dual-Camera FaceTime in Group Calls

Beyond stylus support, iOS 27.2 adds dual-camera use during group FaceTime calls—allowing users to combine the front and rear cameras simultaneously. This capability, previously limited to certain app-based video tools, is now built directly into FaceTime for multi-person conversations.

The update is available now for compatible devices running iOS 27.
