What the New Siri Can Actually Do
I started by asking Siri about sports β everything from World Cup matches to team lineups and scores. Earlier developer builds had some hiccups, but most of the information now comes back correct.
Siri also handles complex, multi-step instructions. For example, I asked it to find small or hidden but useful features in iOS 27 and add them to a note. It handled that well.
Beyond retrieval, Siri can draft a message for you and send it to someone.
And because Siri can pull context from your files, messages, and email, you can ask it to look up a conversation β say, one related to a delivery β and then have it compose a message for returns.

While Siri dominates the headlines, iOS 27 packs plenty of other refinements that make everyday use smoother. The update signals Apple's renewed commitment to getting its assistant right β and, for the first time in years, it's actually working.
