Europe's leading vibe-coding startup Lovable has confirmed earlier reports of a massive new funding round, securing $400 million at a $13.3 billion valuation. Announced on Wednesday, the Series C round is led by Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund, with participation from over a dozen additional investors.
This latest raise comes on the heels of Lovable's impressive growth trajectory. In June, the company reported hitting $500 million in annualized run-rate revenue, a milestone it shared exclusively with TechCrunch. The startup's previous round, announced in December 2025, raised $330 million at a $6.6 billion valuation, also led by Menlo Ventures with CapitalG as co-lead. This new round effectively doubles Lovable's valuation within just six months, reflecting the explosive demand for AI-powered development tools.
As the platform scales—now hosting 60 million projects that attract 900 million monthly visitors—Lovable has significantly expanded its backend capabilities. The company develops its own in-house trained AI model alongside offering access to frontier models from major providers. In June, Lovable signed a multiyear deal with Google Cloud, increasing its usage fivefold, a clear signal of its growing infrastructure needs.
Beyond its core product, Lovable is actively investing in the broader European tech ecosystem. The company has backed other startups, including Danish firm Atech, which is pioneering vibe-coding applications for hardware design.
Disclosure: One of Lovable's new Series C investors is Regent, the investment firm that also owns TechCrunch.
