As humanoid robots edge closer to commercial deployment in 2026, the critical question isn't whether they can perform tasksβit's whether they can do so safely alongside human workers. Agility Robotics' Digit 5 may have finally cracked that code.
Agility doesn't have Digit 5 deployed in factories yet, but the hardware is real. Standing tall with a teal-colored exterior and arms bent at the elbow, the robot represents a significant step forward in practical humanoid design.
