SimReady Central: An Open Library of Simulation-Ready 3D Assets for Robotics and AI Factories

As physical AI and robotics simulation mature in 2026, high-quality, physically accurate 3D assets have become a foundational requirement. NVIDIA's SimReady specification has emerged as a practical standard for describing assets that behave correctly in simulation, and SimReady Central now provides an open, community-driven library to host and distribute them.

Why simulation-ready assets matter

Robotics and autonomous systems are increasingly trained and validated in simulation before deployment. For that training to transfer reliably to the real world, every 3D asset in a scene must carry accurate geometry, materials, physics properties, and semantic metadata. SimReady Central addresses this need by offering a curated, open library where assets are validated against the SimReady specification and can be dropped directly into simulation pipelines.

Key capabilities

  • Open access: Assets are freely available for the robotics and AI research community.
  • Specification-aligned: Every asset is checked for geometry, material, and physics correctness.
  • Interoperable: Assets are designed for use across common simulation frameworks, including NVIDIA Isaac Sim and related tooling.
  • Community-driven: Contributors can publish new assets, extending coverage for industrial, warehouse, and factory environments.

Building toward AI factories

The library is intended to support the growing demand for synthetic data and digital twins used in AI factory workflows. By standardizing how simulation-ready assets are described and distributed, SimReady Central helps teams reduce pipeline friction and focus on training robust robot policies rather than fixing asset inconsistencies.

Getting started

Explore the library, review the SimReady specification, and begin integrating assets into your simulation environments. Contributions and feedback from the robotics and physical AI community are welcome as the library continues to grow.
