All the News About the iPhone Duo

Apple has finally announced its long-rumored foldable: the iPhone Duo.
Design and Display
The new phone features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, finished with a "nano-texture" coating on the inner screen and a barely visible crease. Rather than Face ID, it relies on Touch ID integrated into the power button. Camera-wise, it ships with two lenses: a main camera and a wide-angle option.
Software and Experience
Apple completely revamped iOS 27's controls and apps for the foldable form factor, including moving the dock to the side of the phone. Unfolding the device also triggers a flashy opening animation.
Price and Positioning
The iPhone Duo represents a major new bet from Apple, though one that arrives a little late compared to competitors like Samsung and Google. It isn't cheap: the base 256GB model starts at $1,999, with prices climbing from there. Still, Apple says preorder demand has been "extraordinary," suggesting the company may have a hit on its hands.
