Fitbit Co-Founders Launch Luffu Link, an LTE-Enabled Health and Safety Band

Luffu, a new startup co-founded by Fitbit’s James Park and Eric Friedman, unveiled the Luffu Link on Tuesday—an LTE-enabled health and safety band designed to monitor both physical and mental well-being. The wearable integrates all-day health tracking, voice logging, location awareness, and direct communication with trusted contacts into a single device, functioning even when a smartphone is out of reach. The device is currently available for pre-order at $250 and is slated to ship in early 2027. It will be offered in three color options: Halo Gold, Onyx Black, and Sterling Blue.
